Basketball Recap: Xion Evans Key Part of a Team Effort in Eagles Win

On Tuesday, the Business Engineering Science Tech Eagles didn't have too much breathing room in their match against the Paideia Pythons, but they still walked away with a 74-68 win.

Business Engineering Science Tech got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Xion Evans out in front who went 8 for 13 on his way to 19 points. That's the most points Evans has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Joshua Mickell, who posted 16 points in addition to seven boards and six assists.

Business Engineering Science Tech is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.2 points per game. As for Paideia, their loss dropped their record down to 10-10.

Business Engineering Science Tech wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 92-49 win against Galloway on the 31st. As for Paideia, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 68-57 victory against King's Ridge Christian on the 30th.
