Joliet West has gone a perfect 8-0 against Joliet Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Tigers will face off against the Steelmen at 6:00 p.m. Joliet West will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Joliet West took a six-goal loss the last time they faced off against Sandburg, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Tigers had just enough and edged out the Eagles 2-1 on Saturday. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Joliet West were the better team in the second half.

Alicia Casillas and Isabel Cordoba scored both of Joliet West's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 17 goals.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last game, Joliet Central made sure to put some goals up on the board against Shepard on Monday. They blew past the Astros 4-1. Joliet Central haven't had any issues with Shepard recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Joliet West's record now sits at 13-6. As for Joliet Central, their record is now 5-10.

Everything went Joliet West's way against Joliet Central when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Joliet West made off with a 7-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
