Volleyball Game Preview: Oakleaf Knights vs. Tocoi Creek Toros + Official Tickets

The Oakleaf Knights will head out to take on the Tocoi Creek Toros at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Oakleaf will bounce into Monday's match after beating Ridgeview, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Knights put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday. The Knights not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 20th (when they won 3-0).

Oakleaf was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-13, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Tocoi Creek made easy work of Bishop Snyder on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Toros.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-21, 25-15.

The win got Oakleaf back to even at 12-12. As for Tocoi Creek, they now have a winning record of 13-12.

Everything went Oakleaf's way against Tocoi Creek when the teams last played back in August, as Oakleaf made off with a 3-0 victory. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Toros turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
