Central won the last time they faced Liberty Magnet and things went their way on Thursday too. The Wildcats blew past the Patriots 12-3. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won 16 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Central and bumps their season record up to 21-8. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Liberty Magnet, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central will face off against Zachary at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Broncos will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight. As for Liberty Magnet, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Slaughter Community Charter at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
