The Gregory School extends home winning streak to 14

Recap: The Gregory School Hawks vs. Patagonia Lobos

The Gregory School Hawks can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 57-16 victory over Patagonia. Winning may never get old, but The Gregory School sure is getting used to it with their tenth in a row.

The Gregory School got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Razin Smith out in front who scored nine points along with 14 rebounds and two steals. Smith is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Devin Dawson, who scored ten points along with three steals.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Patagonia struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only an offensive rebound. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as The Gregory School pulled down 25 offensive rebounds.

The Gregory School pushed their record up to 19-3 with that victory, which was their 14th straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.8 points per game. As for Patagonia, their loss dropped their record down to 10-14.

The Gregory School will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind at 7:00 p.m. Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Patagonia, they will head out on the road to challenge Phoenix Day School for the Deaf at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
