Pacelli's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 27-20 victory over the Iola-Scandinavia Thunderbirds. The Cardinals' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Pacelli's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-3. As for Iola-Scandinavia, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pacelli will challenge Auburndale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles' defense has only allowed 13.2 points per game this season, so the Cardinals' offense will have their work cut out for them.
