McIntosh is 8-0-1 against Columbus since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The McIntosh Chiefs will welcome the Columbus Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m.

McIntosh is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten goals on Thursday, they were much more limited against Northgate on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the Vikings. The Chiefs' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous four contests, Columbus brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. Their defense stepped up to hand Carver a 13-0 shutout on Monday. The Blue Devils have beaten the Tigers the last nine times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Tigers has come to flipping the script.

Columbus' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three games. As for McIntosh, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 7-3.

McIntosh took their victory against Columbus in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 4-0. Does McIntosh have another victory up their sleeve, or will Columbus turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
