Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chalmette). They claimed a resounding 53-0 win over the Booker T. Washington Lions. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Owls considering their six-point performance the contest before.

Chalmette's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB 4.5 times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Tyray Darensburg, Yasha Miller, and Vicenzo Carvalho, who each picked up 0.5 sacks apiece.

The victory got Chalmette back to even at 2-2. As for Booker T. Washington, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Chalmette will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Pearl River at 7:00 p.m. As for Booker T. Washington, they will head out to square off against Carver Collegiate Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
