Basketball Recap: Galion Comes Up Short

Galion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a blow against the River Valley Vikings, falling 59-25. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-12 back in December of 2024.

Galion's record now sits at 3-17. As for River Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 7-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Galion will host Bucyrus at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Galion is facing Bucyrus at the right time seeing as Bucyrus is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for River Valley, they will be playing at home against Cardington-Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
