Basketball Game Preview: Grace Christian Warriors vs. Buffalo Gap Bison

Grace Christian hasn't had much luck against Buffalo Gap recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Grace Christian Warriors will head out to take on the Buffalo Gap Bison at 6:00 p.m. Grace Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Buffalo Gap likes a good challenge.

Grace Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They really took it to Ridgeview Christian for the full four quarters, racking up a 67-34 win. The Warriors pushed the score to 49-21 by the end of the third, a deficit the Crusaders had little chance of recovering from.

Meanwhile, Buffalo Gap was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were beaten by Fort Defiance 80-33.

Grace Christian is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.7 points per game. As for Buffalo Gap, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.

Grace Christian came up short against Buffalo Gap in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 40-34. Can Grace Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
