Princeton has been on a difficult stretch since their win on August 28. They came up short against the Greenbrier East Spartans on Wednesday, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Princeton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' West Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 55th, while Greenbrier East are ranked eighth).

Princeton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11-1. As for Greenbrier East, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Princeton is set to square off against their familiar foe Bluefield at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Greenbrier East will face off against rival Nicholas County at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
