Brandon Valley entered their tilt with Spearfish on Saturday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Spartans. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lynx also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Brandon Valley easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-17.

Among those leading the charge was Mya VanWesten, who had 11 digs and six assists. That's the most assists she has posted over her last nine contests.

Brandon Valley's victory bumped their record up to 21-3. As for Spearfish, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-10 record this season.

Brandon Valley has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Stevens on the 25th. As for Spearfish, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Watertown on the 25th.
