Basketball Recap: Saddleback Now 5-1 over Last Six Games

If Century wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Saddleback, they should've done a better job of containing Christopher Trotter. Everything went the Saddleback Roadrunners' way against the Century Centurions on Friday as the Saddleback Roadrunners made off with a 63-43 win thanks in part to Trotter, who went 5 for 12 on his way to 17 points in addition to five assists and three steals. The contest was his tenth in a row with at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Aaron Vidal, who went 7 of 13 en route to 15 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in November of 2024.

Saddleback is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for Century, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.

Saddleback will venture away from home to square off against Bolsa Grande at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Saddleback is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.5 points per game this season. As for Century, they will welcome Anaheim at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Anaheim will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Century surely won't give up without a fight.
