Basketball Recap: Maple River Has No Trouble Against St. James

Maple River posted their biggest win since February 20th on Thursday. Everything went their way against the St. James Saints as the Maple River Eagles made off with a 68-43 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2016.

The win got Maple River back to even at 2-2. As for St. James, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Maple River will venture away from home to challenge Lisbon at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for St. James, they will square off against Blue Earth at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Blue Earth's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups.
