North Miami proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a set and slipped past the Peru Tigers 3-2. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

North Miami took Peru into a fifth set where they got it done with a nine-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 21-25, 21-25, 25-17, 15-6.

Grace Sailors paced North Miami's offense, picking up 26 kills. Sailors got some help from Chloe Sparks and her 36 assists. Finally, Sailors was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

North Miami's victory bumped their record up to 19-5. As for Peru, the loss snapped their winning streak at five matches and leaves them with a 15-10 record.

North Miami has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against North Judson-San Pierre on the 27th. As for Peru, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Logansport on the 29th.
