The Easton Warriors will head out to take on the North Caroline Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Easton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.9 runs per game this season.

Easton came up short against Bennett on Wednesday, falling 13-3. The Warriors have struggled against the Clippers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Michael O'Connor made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Dylan Cassell, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Caroline). They were the clear victors by a 22-1 margin over Wicomico on Wednesday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Bulldogs with their most commanding win of the season.

North Caroline is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Easton, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.

Everything went Easton's way against North Caroline when the teams last played back in March, as Easton made off with a 12-3 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
