Softball Recap: Gilman Takes a Loss

Gilman was the 16-1 winner over Columbus Catholic when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Pirates lost 12-2 to the Dons on Tuesday. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gilman's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Columbus Catholic, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Dons beat Gilman by a score of 18-2 later that day.
