Basketball Recap: Brown County's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

Brown County had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the North Putnam Cougars by a score of 55-45 on Saturday. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 79-57 victory the Cougars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Brown County's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-8. As for North Putnam, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-13.

Brown County will square off against Indian Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. North Putnam has already played their next contest (against Traders Point Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
