Softball Recap: Moorhead Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for Moorhead's offense. They fell 3-0 to the Rogers Royals on Saturday. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Spuds' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Moorhead saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Kressin, who went 2-for-4 with one double.

Moorhead now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Rogers, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Moorhead will venture away from home to square off against St. Cloud Cathedral at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rogers, they will head out to take on Robbinsdale Armstrong at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
