Volleyball Recap: Eastern Guilford Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Eastern Guilford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Western Guilford Hornets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2019.

Eastern Guilford was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-17, 25-14.

Eastern Guilford's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Western Guilford, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Eastern Guilford will welcome Glenn at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Western Guilford, they have already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against East Forsyth on the 19th.
