Baseball Game Preview: Shadle Park Highlanders vs. Ridgeline Falcons

The Shadle Park Highlanders will square off against the Ridgeline Falcons at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Tuesday, Shadle Park came up short against Mt. Spokane and fell 11-6. The Highlanders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Matthew Pugh was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Evan Lafferty, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Ridgeline's offense. They fell just short of Central Valley by a score of 1-0 on Monday. The Falcons' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Shadle Park's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Ridgeline, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.
