Recap: Early County Bobcats vs. Quitman County Hornets
The Early County Bobcats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 86-36 victory over Quitman County at home. The win was just what Early County needed coming off of a 88-66 defeat in their prior match.
K'eMarion Pugh was the offensive standout of the matchup as he scored eight points along with six steals and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathaniel Tinson, who scored 14 points along with four steals and two blocks.
Early County is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Quitman County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.
Early County will challenge Mitchell County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Quitman County, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Stewart County at 6:30 p.m. Stewart County has now lost 13 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 17.
