After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bell, Southlake Carroll was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 14-4 margin over the Keller Central Chargers. The Dragons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by seven runs or more this season.
Audrey Stroud looked comfortable as she pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
At the plate, Southlake Carroll got a massive performance out of Kelli Warden, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Emmy May, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
