Oak Mountain played a tough match on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 27-6 to the Prattville Lions. The Eagles gained 106 more yards on the day, but it was the Lions that made the best use of them.

Despite the loss, Oak Mountain still got an impressive performance from Kasen Lemons, who picked up 121 receiving yards and one touchdown. Charlie Vacarella was another key player, having thrown for 257 yards and onetouchdown.

It was truly a group effort as Kennedy Silas, Jayden Aparicio-Bailey, and Jc Schwender picked up one apiece. Schwender is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in each of the last five games he's played dating back to last season. Ethan Walton was another major factor on D, making ten total tackles (4.0 for loss).

Tristin Blackmon was a one-man wrecking crew For Prattville. as he rushed for 154 yards and a pair of TDs. That's the most rushing yards Blackmon has posted since back in September of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Oak Mountain fell to 2-1. As for Prattville, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.
