South Carroll scaled the state rankings by moving to 56 from 83 this week, the biggest jump in Monocacy Valley - Chesapeake. The Cavaliers were able to move up by defeating Frederick 26-6.
Manchester Valley led the league in scoring this week by notching 44 points on Brunswick.
Westminster's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Duke Etchinson threw for 316 yards and Jesse Uhlman had 120 yards receiving. On the ground Etchinson contributed 30 yards. Ryan Hursey helped Westminster's passing attack out by catching 8 balls for 91 yards.

An important game coming up in the league this week will be when North Carroll takes on Winters Mill. As it stands, the Panthers are in first, while the Falcons are in sixth.
South Carroll made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,322 from 4,962. The improvement was the result of 26-6 victory over the Cadets last week.
