Recap: Lisbon Broncos vs. Thompson Tommies
The Lisbon Broncos's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Thompson, falling 56-27. Lisbon was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-9.
Loss or not, Lisbon got some senior leadership from Kyra Haecherl who scored nine points along with eight rebounds and three steals and Emerson Schultz who scored eight points. Haecherl scored a full 33.3% of Lisbon's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Lisbon's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Thompson, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
Lisbon will stay at home for another game and welcome Kindred at 7:30 p.m. on January 11th. As for Thompson, they will head out on the road to face off against Central Cass at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Central Cass will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Dakota Rankings (they are ranked 77th, while Thompson is ranked second).
