Volleyball Recap: Everett Warriors vs. McConnellsburg Spartans
There's no place like home for Everett, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the McConnellsburg Spartans on Thursday. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Spartans, too.
Everett never let McConnellsburg on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-19, 26-24.
Addy Wood paced Everett's offense, picking up ten kills. Wood got some help from Laynee Cornell and her 13 assists. Finally, Brooke Hillegas kept Everett's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.
