Baseball Recap: Prairie View Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Prairie View's offense. They lost 14-0 to the Paola Panthers on Thursday. The Buffalos haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Prairie View's loss dropped their record down to 1-4-2. As for Paola, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Prairie View will face off against Burlington on Tuesday. The Wildcats' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Buffalos' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Paola has already played their next contest (against Chanute), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
