Basketball Recap: Asheville T's Losing Streak Snapped at Six Games

There's no place like home for Asheville T, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They took down the Invest Collegiate Imagine Kingfishers 52-33 on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for the Trailblazers as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

When it comes to explaining why Invest Collegiate Imagine lost, don't look at Asa Gura. Despite the final result, he posted 16 points. Gura's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Gabe Ordiway was another key player, putting up three points and 17 boards.

Asheville T's victory bumped their record up to 2-9. As for Invest Collegiate Imagine, they moved to 10-4 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Asheville T will be playing at home against Lake Lure Classical Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Asheville T has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Invest Collegiate Imagine, they are taking a road trip to take on Mount Pisgah Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Invest Collegiate Imagine is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.5 points per game this season.
