Soccer Game Preview: Zephyrhills vs. Nature Coast Tech

Zephyrhills hasn't had much luck against Nature Coast Tech recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Zephyrhills Bulldogs will challenge the Nature Coast Tech Sharks at 7:00 p.m. Zephyrhills will be strutting in after a victory while Nature Coast Tech will be coming in after a loss.

Zephyrhills headed into their last matchup having not scored more than one goal for three straight, but Central let them put that streak behind them. Zephyrhills never let Central onto the board and left with a 6-0 win on Thursday. Annaliese Maldonado was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Nature Coast Tech's offense. They fell just short of Lecanto by a score of 1-0 on Thursday.

Nature Coast Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5-2. As for Zephyrhills, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-15.

Zephyrhills might still be hurting after the 7-0 loss they got from Nature Coast Tech in their previous meeting back in January of 2021. Can Zephyrhills avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
