Softball Recap: New Albany Takes a Loss

New Albany and Seymour squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but New Albany had to settle for second. They came up short against the Owls, falling 11-2. Having soared to a lofty 22 runs in the game before, the Bulldogs couldn't push the score so high this time.

New Albany's defeat dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Seymour, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-8.

New Albany does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Seymour, they will challenge Floyd Central at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Highlanders will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something the Owls surely won't give up without a fight.
