Volleyball Recap: Silver Lake Comes Up Short

Silver Lake was the 3-1 winner over Red Cloud when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs lost 3-0 to the Warriors on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Mustangs have suffered since October 29, 2024.

While Silver Lake was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Red Cloud's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-17, 25-21.

Despite the loss, Silver Lake still got an impressive performance from Sophie Schmidt, who had 25 digs and one assist. Schmidt has been hot for a while, having posted 19 or more digs the last ten times she's played.
