There's no place like home for Stringer, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They never let the Harrison Central Red Rebels get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Saturday. The one-run effort marked the Red Devils' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The result came thanks to Madilyn Graham's shutout, as she gave up just two hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.

At the plate, Stringer saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Preslee Cook, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That double marked the first that Cook hit this season.

Stringer now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Harrison Central, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stringer will face off against West Jones at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Stringer is facing West Jones at the right time seeing as West Jones is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. Harrison Central will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Ocean Springs at 6:30 p.m. on March 13th.
