Modoc was sadly handed a defeat on Tuesday, but Chris Gensel did his best to prevent it. Gensel pitched 2.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits, which was good enough to also set a new career-low in walks.

Coming up, Gensel and Modoc will take on Mt. Shasta at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
