Softball Recap: Vasquez Comes Up Short

Vasquez saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Village Christian Crusaders. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Daniella Escamilla was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.

Vasquez's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Village Christian, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-5.

Vasquez didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-3 defeat against Polytechnic on the 12th. As for Village Christian, they have also already played their next contest, a 5-1 victory against South Pasadena on the 12th.
