            After flying high against Aspen  last Saturday, Coal Ridge came back down to earth. The Coal Ridge Titans fell  47-38 to the Palisade Bulldogs on Tuesday. The Titans have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Coal Ridge lost  despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was   Brilee Jensen, who  went 7-for-15  to rack up 16  points and seven  rebounds. Those 16 points gave  her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Reese Elder, who  posted 12  points and five  boards.
 Even though they lost, Coal Ridge  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 19  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least 19  offensive boards in three consecutive  games.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Palisade to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Delaney Wright, who  dropped  a double-double with 12 points and 23  rebounds. Another player making a difference was  Mady Bavor, who  went 6-for-14  en route to 14  points in addition to eight  boards and three  steals.
Coal Ridge now  has a losing record of 10-11. As for Palisade, their record is now 13-9.
 Looking ahead, Coal Ridge will face off against Moffat County at 1:30  p.m.  on Saturday. As for Palisade, they will take on Grand Junction Central at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
