Basketball Recap: Belvidere North Comes Up Short

Belvidere North lost against Rockford Auburn back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Belvidere North Blue Thunder took a blow against the Rockford Auburn Knights, falling 61-27. The matchup marked the Blue Thunder's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Belvidere North and nudges their season record down to 5-6. As for Rockford Auburn, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Belvidere North and Springfield Southeast will round out the year against one another at at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rockford Auburn, they will square off against Wheaton Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rockford Auburn will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
