Soccer Game Preview: Monarch vs. Taravella

The Monarch Knights will head out to take on the Taravella Trojans at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Monarch is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Western just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 3-2.

Meanwhile, Taravella kept a clean sheet against Deerfield Beach back in December of 2024. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Bucks.

Melaney Apraez and Mia Marshall-Hewitt scored both of Taravella's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 16 goals.

Taravella is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those four contests. As for Monarch, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5-2.
