Baseball Recap: Henderson County Comes Up Short

Henderson County lost against Apollo back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Henderson County Colonels lost 8-1 to the Apollo Eagles.

Henderson County got a good showing from Sonny Shelton, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

Henderson County's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Apollo, their record now sits at 2-0.

Looking ahead, Henderson County will head out on the road to take on Owensboro Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Apollo, they will square off against Breckinridge County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
