Basketball Game Preview: Tonopah Valley Phoenix vs. Copper Canyon Aztecs

The Tonopah Valley Phoenix will challenge the Copper Canyon Aztecs at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Tonopah Valley has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since November 25.

On Tuesday, Tonopah Valley had to suffer through a 85-46 loss at the hands of Florence.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Copper Canyon). They enjoyed a cozy 64-45 victory over Blue Ridge on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Aztecs.

Tonopah Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Copper Canyon, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.
