The Excelsior Classical Academy Flying Lions are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on the Triangle Math & Science Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Excelsior Classical Academy is headed out to face Triangle Math & Science after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Flying Lions claimed a resounding 51-9 victory over The Hawbridge School. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Flying Lions had established a 34-point advantage.

Excelsior Classical Academy's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Arihanna Williams, who posted 21 points and eight steals, and Justice Mims, who earned 21 points and five steals. Williams has been hot, having posted three or more steals the last eight times she's played. Another player making a difference was Libby Gross, who had two points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Triangle Math & Science was able to grind out a solid win over Ascend Leadership on Tuesday, taking the game 46-39. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Aviators recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
