Softball Recap: Dobson Comes Up Short

Dobson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 18-1 to the Williams Field Black Hawks. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Black Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2016.

Dobson saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shaylee Peshlakai, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Dobson's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Williams Field, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-8-1 record.

Dobson has already played their next matchup, a 21-1 loss against Mountain View on the 31st. As for Williams Field, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-12 defeat against Gilbert on the 1st.
