Gaither owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-0 win over the Strawberry Crest Chargers. The victory was familiar territory for the Cowboys, who have now won three games in a row.

The result came thanks to Mathew Altman's shutout, as he gave up just a hit and racked up seven Ks. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in ten consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Gaither's win was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Albert Antinori, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Gaither's record now sits at 17-4. As for Strawberry Crest, the loss snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 16-6 record.
