Huntington Beach had won eight straight home games and Roxie Shaia did her part to make it nine on Monday. The Oilers breezed past the Los Alamitos Griffins to the tune of 34-0 with plenty of help from Shaia, who threw for 180 yards and three TDs while completing 71.4% of her passes. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last four times she's played.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Huntington Beach's defense and their four sacks. Zaahra Bhakta was especially locked on to Los Alamitos' QB and sacked her twice. Shelby Nguyen got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Huntington Beach's record now sits at 20-1. As for Los Alamitos, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.
