Soccer Game Preview: Dan River vs. Patrick County

The Dan River Wildcats will take on the Patrick County Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Dan River is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Chatham on Friday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Cavaliers by a score of 3-2. Dan River have struggled against Chatham recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, Patrick County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of James River.

Patrick County's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Dan River, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.
