Penncrest has gone 8-0-1 against Chichester recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Lions will host the Eagles at 3:30 p.m. Penncrest's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Penncrest's offense. They fell 2-0 to Lower Merion on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Penncrest can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 275th, while Lower Merion are ranked 62nd).

Meanwhile, Chichester can bid farewell to their five-match losing streak thanks to their match on Monday. They put the hurt on Collegium Charter with a sharp 6-1 win. It was an even better day for Alex Bube as he scored three goals for his team.

Penncrest's loss dropped their record down to 6-11-1. As for Chichester, their victory bumped their record up to 5-11-1.

Everything went Penncrest's way against Chichester when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Penncrest made off with a 10-0 win. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
