Soldotna faced Wasilla in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Stars were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Warriors. The win was familiar territory for the Stars, who have now won three matchups in a row.

While Soldotna won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-18, 25-23.

Morgan Simac paced Soldotna's offense, picking up ten kills. Simac got some help from Teagen Kobylarz and her 27 assists. Kobylarz was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.
