Basketball Recap: North Greene Takes a Loss

North Greene lost against Greenfield/Northwestern back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The North Greene Spartans took a hard 70-56 fall against the Greenfield/Northwestern Tigers. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

It was another big night for Garrett Costello, who went 9-for-11 en route to 25 points in addition to six assists and six rebounds for Greenfield/Northwestern. Costello is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Griffin Rothe, who posted 13 points.

North Greene's defeat dropped their record down to 14-17. As for Greenfield/Northwestern, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-10 record this season.

As of now, neither North Greene nor Greenfield/Northwestern have any future games scheduled.
