Volleyball Game Preview: West Laurens Raiders vs. Luella Lions

The West Laurens Raiders will challenge the Luella Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Wednesday, West Laurens came up short against Peach County and fell 2-0.

While West Laurens was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Luella was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss. They fell 2-0 to Peach County.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-10.

Luella's defeat dropped their record down to 0-20. As for West Laurens, their loss dropped their record down to 13-18.

West Laurens beat Luella 2-0 in their previous matchup back in September. Do the Raiders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
