Basketball Recap: De Leon Takes a Loss

De Leon was the 32-27 winner over Hico when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The De Leon Bearcats took a 60-44 bruising from the Hico Tigers on Friday. The Bearcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

De Leon's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Hico, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

De Leon will be home for the holidays to greet Hamilton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hamilton has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Hico, they will head out to face off against Poolville at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
